Here’s another fine picture of the sun’s corona, taken from Side.

Or a round black hole in an arctic snow cover.

dubjay May 28, 2006 at 9:00 pm: I’d really like to see a hologram of the sun’s corona so that I could see that texture in 3D, and find out if the braiding effects that I could swear I saw were the result of a three-dimensional image being impressed on my two-dimensional retinas.
