The Daring to Ask Blog has dared to ask me some very comprehensive questions about my novel, The Rift. The book was published in 1999, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying it.

Walter John Williams said:

"Yes, very much. People are inclined to distrust their government until a catastrophe occurs, and the government then becomes their sole resource and they very much want a strong government with unlimited resources."

Be glad you do not live in Oklahoma. I know people who would prefer to die than make use of government resources. More accurately, They would prefer others to die than accept aid from the Federal government.

Some people give moron a bad name.

I enjoyed The Rift quite a bit. Your storytelling in contemporary settings is excellent. Also, the scene with the LPG explosion was intense.

I liked the surf scene. The beach boy music just added that extra bit. I need to reread the book after I finish my next three projects.
