Spin Tricks

by wjw on August 13, 2013

Taos Toolbox ended over the weekend, and in the days since I’ve mostly been staring at the walls, and murmuring to myself, “Guess it’s time to do the critiques.”

On the last day Nancy and I taught a special class in spinning people through the air with the power of our minds, as illustrated by the photograph.

Tumbling through the sky is participant Kenneth Kao, who is not only a talented new writer but does parkour, pole dancing, chiropracty, and is a sometime contestant on American Ninja Warrior.

Because in your writing classes, you can never have too many ninjas.

(I’d post a photo credit, but I can’t remember who took this one.)

(By the way, can anyone explain why all my posts since the 5th have disappeared?  I mean, there weren’t that many of them, and they probably weren’t that exciting, but they’re still gone, and WordPress has no record of them.)

I prefer the ones where a Japanese schoolgirl uses a tuba to blast her enemies.

Okay, I see a schoolgirl coming at me with a tuba, I’m heading for the hills!
