The taxonomic name for this lovely creature is “wonderpus photogenicus.”

No, really.  It absolutely is.

Ah, yes, reality. Pfehh. Personally I think that reality is rather boring and greatly overrated. The wonderpus photogenicus looks a bit like the octosac used by Kayla, King of the Shark Men and lackey of Ming the Merciless, in his futile attempt to 86 Flash Gordon. The octosac, as I recall, was about four meters long. I was going to say “twelve feet,” but since the octosac only has eight legs, that would have been silly.

Kidding aside, thanks for the amazing photos, WJW! Have lots o’ fun!!!
