I’m in Boston right now staring out the window at snow, so I won’t be doing much posting here over the weekend.

So y’all do it. Feel free to have a chat.  Just remember to keep it civil.

I moved out of Boston 14 days ago today.

…so I’m in New Hampshire right now, staring out the window at snow.

In SF related news, having read over the last few weeks a few WJW novels that I missed the first time around in the 1990s, I’m now reading an Adam Roberts novel, “New Model Army”. 10-15 pages in. Good so far – reminds me of Ken Macleod’s stuff.

A friend of mine was sentenced to half a year in Boston for some kind of IT project. He loathed it so badly he proposed a “Bulldozers for Boston” project, to push the whole festering mess off into the Atlantic.

Some years later, having had my fill of Norfolk, Virginia, I proposed the “Nukes for Norfolk” urban renewal program. I don’t really care of they build a new city on the site, but the old one, in my opinion, definitely needs to go…

“Be civil.” If we disobey, would that be an instance of Civil Disobedience? Speaking of which, you’re pretty close to Walden Pond. If the snow clears, you might go visit. However, don’t expect too much – it’s become quite commercialized.
