The “romance” novels my wife reads would have been “hardcore porn” just a few years ago… She claims the difference is that they have a plot, but I don’t see that much difference between “he doesn’t notice me so I’ll become a fallen woman” and “horny housewife greets pizza boy.”
Would total ignorance of the subject be an asset or hindrance if I were to decide on a second career as a media critic?
