At least the vegetation looks about right for St Helens. But how does it fit the “more than one correct answer” clue?
Lots of volcanoes can be *seen* from multiple places, but I’m going to interpret the clue to mean that the volcano itself straddles two places. The vegetation rules out tropical, desert, or pampas locations. That narrows things down from 700, but still leaves me with a guess.
I’ll go with Lanín, (so Chile and Argentina), for sentimental reasons.
A wild guess: Fujiyama
(I think that Kilimanjaro has more terrain surrounding it…?)
(Not a stratovulcano, but the shape fits: Gaustadtoppen)
Mount Ararat? So you could be in Turkey, Iran, Armenia or Azerbaijan?
Good guesses, but no.
Only about 700 stratovolcanoes to go. Keep on guessing!
I’m gonna guess Mt St Helens. Cloud cover hiding the distinctive top.
Oops! So, Washington state.

Nope, neither Washington State nor Chile.
I’m at World Fantasy right now, otherwise I’d just put up a new picture. But in the meantime, you are all at liberty to keep guessing.
Is it Volcan Chingo? So either Guatemala or El Salvador?
Japan? It looks like Mount Fuji.
How about Lanin on the border between Argentina and Chile? The profile doesn’t look quite right, but the vegetation could work.
The really perfect young stratovolcanoes are mostly in places with more conifers, no conifers, or no snow . . .
Looks like snow, and you were in Scandinavia & Iceland this summer, so my guess is Iceland.
Dang. I’m too late to have gotten this one. I have a friend touristing in NZ right now and he recently posted a very similar pic of Mt. Doom.
Popocatépetl in Puebla/Morelos, Mexico.
New Zealand
