This is outrageous! These pinko, liberal science nerds need to be kept in their place. Of course it's a conspiracy. Don't they know that their only function is to confirm and take responsibility for the preconceptions of the rich and powerful? How dare they draw attention to the fact that the latter are wrecking the biosphere?!
All this knowledge stuff is elitist. Just because scientists know a bunch of stuff, it does not make the stuff they make up any better than the stuff we make up.
They all started getting a big head when they were right about all that flat Earth stuff. Facts don't make you right, they just make you think you are right.
