Conned Again

I had a good time at Bubonicon, which had a record attendance of over 1000 people.

In a few hours I’ll be winging my way to Worldcon in Anaheim, which will be the smallest worldcon probably in fifty years, at under 3000 people.

It seems that people from abroad are reluctant to visit the U.S., as they might end up in ICE prison, be turned away at customs, deported to Liberia, or simply be shot. So it’s not so much a WORLDcon anymore.

Such is our image in the world.
