This year’s coolest teen comedy.

Ten Things I Hate About Commandments.

From the folks who gave you “The Shining.”

Wonder what they’d do with Cleopatra?

That film is a classic for good actors reciting horrible lines, written as if the screenwriters were asked to modernize the dialogue from the Shakespeare play and then botched it.

Since we’ve already got the teen comedy and heartwarming family drama genres covered, maybe Cleopatra could be horror, a la The Ring.

“What terrible secret compels the rich, powerful members of the Mediterranean Jet Set to commit suicide? What is . . . CAESAR’S CURSE.”

I found your site from Ellen Datlow’s Links page. Amazing how twists and turns of fingers and then I’m on your blog. I read you live in New Mexico. I live in Halifax, Canada.

Halifax is quite a contrast to New Mexico, I expect.

Had any rain lately? Here we’re in the worst year (so far) of a seven-year drought.
