I saw this before, and the thing that struck me was how much craft is still needed to make something look like a professional production.
Indeed, maybe that’s the result of the digital-effects revolution. We’re past the point where you can distinguish high-budget from low-budget by the effects work. Lighting, editing, camera work, makeup and wardrobe; all of these things are where individuals can make recognizable contributions.
While they are certainly actors, and arguably amateur film-makers, they are both actually digital effects professionals.
