Hey, I think John Clute likes you!

Still looking forward to reading ‘Implied Spaces’.

I don’t think I’ll bother with the Jeanette Winterson.

Even better news (for me) – I finally have my copy! Going to read it now.

I just got a phone call saying my copy has arrived and is waiting for me to pick it up. The distributer had some copies but none had been sent to the local Barnes and Noble.

Waiting for it to show up in local book stores. I have read my own copy, however I plan to buy a few to give to friends.

PS. My earlier comment about Robert A. Heinlein was not meant as an insult. I spotted lots of little references to The Number of the Beast, The Puppet Masters Starship Troopers and possibly a few other of his books. I might have been seeing things that were not there.

PS. Your writing style does have similarities to Roger Z. You may not quite play with words the way he did. I don’t think anyone ever will (I have tried).

I very much wish you had been picked to write the new Amber books. I read the first. It was quite sad.

No way did I take the comparison to Heinlein as an insult! People can compare me to Heinlein whenever they like! And in public! (And please do it often!)
