I saw last night’s episode of Castle, in which Richard Castle read from one of his books at a party for $15,000.
I would like you all to know that I, too, will read at your party for $15,000, and that you’re more likely to get me than to get Richard Castle.

But do you also solve crimes?
Sure, I solve crimes!
And I know from watching Castle that the murderer always shows up within the first 10 minutes of the investigation, so that makes it easy!
Although there actually *is* a “Richard Castle” house name with several “Nikki Heat” books published under it.
So, presumably, one could actually get Nathan Fillion to attend an event in-character as Richard Castle and read a Nikki Heat book…
Not for $15,000, you’re not!
