The Word From Annie

by wjw on October 11, 2020

Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester, MA, has kindly offered me an Author’s Spotlight Interview.

Annie rejoices in the slogan “The little bookstore that’s bigger on the inside,” so they very likely have what you want.  Please consider Annie’s for all your bookshop needs.

WJW,

When I read that Annie’s Book Stop in Worcester, MA was featuring you, I fell off of my chair. I’ve got to be the luckiest guy in the world, I thought. I’m here in Worcester for a whole 3 months, and one of my favorite authors in the entire world is going to be there. I’ve been hunting around for the date: to see when you would be arriving. I realized early-on that we would have to wear masks during your “author spotlight,” and it then began to dawn on me that maybe this wasn’t what I thought it was.

Sure enough, I just finished reading your Author’s Spotlight Interview.

Now that my soreness over the matter has begun to wane, I invite you to Massachusetts, good sir! Once this pandemic has subsided quite a bit more of course. I would hate myself if you came to Massachusetts, and this happened to be the place you caught Covid-19… and I was the catalyst to it all.

Looking forward to Fleet Elements with baited breath, FYI! The Praxis was one of my all time favorites – heck the entire Dread Empire series has to be one Sci-Fi’s all time greats.

Thank you for you, sir!

Noel, thanks for the kind words! I do come to Massachusetts now and again— I often attend Boskone in Boston, which is where I met the good folks from Annie’s.
