When I recently looked at the ebook version of Voice of the Whirlwind, I discovered that the order of two of the later chapters had been reversed in the latest update, which was January 2016. (Flipping the order of chapter is, alas, all too easy with the software I’m using. Up till now I’ve always caught it somewhere in the editing process.)Previous post: Surfin’ Suomolainen

I wish you’d write some more books like Voice of the Whirlwind and Hardwired.
They’re two of the dozen-odd books I always keep spare copies of, to pass off to unsuspecting non-readers and non-SF-readers.
Here’s the problem. We already live in that world now. I can’t write those sort of books now because they’re no longer SF.
The world of Hardwired and Voice of the Whirlwind is just the 21st Century. (Don’t blame me, I tried to warn you.)
The Dagmar books were attempts to translate all that into a more contemporary idiom, but nobody read them. So what’s left?
> So what’s left?
More Drake Maijstral books! (Yes, we know, they don’t sell well enough 🙁 )
